what is it that makes a great writer?
arthur miller (paraphrase): all great writers burn with a moral certitude about the way the world should be. the good writers come to a peace about that. the great writers never do.
the hands that hold the heavens, are the hands that hold me
though my life is but a breath here, you give me the air to breathe
i stand in silence, i bow in fear
of the God who's far beyond me
and the God right here
-- caroline cobb, "far beyond me"
