eeee! :)

Del Amitri, "Tell Her This"

Tell her not to go
I aint holding on no more
Tell her something in my mind freezes up from time to time

Tell her not to cry
I just got scared thats all
Tell her Ill be by her side, all she has to do is call

Tell her the chips are down
I drank too much and shouted it aloud
Tell her something in my heart
Needs her more than even clowns need the laughter of the crowd

Tell her what was wrong
I sometimes think to much
But say nothing at all
And tell her from this high terrain, I am ready now to fall

Tell her not to go
I aint holding on no more
Tell her nothing if not this; all I want to do is kiss her

Tell her something in my mind
Freezes up from time to time.

my blog mbtype?

fascinating: my xanga/ writing style is

ISFP - The Artists
[ISFP]
The gentle and compassionate type. They are especially attuned their inner values and what other people need. They are not friends of many words and tend to take the worries of the world on their shoulders. They tend to follow the path of least resistance and have to look out not to be taken advantage of.

They often prefer working quietly, behind the scene as a part of a team. They tend to value their friends and family above what they do for a living.

highly thinking and sensing? hmm.

chaos theory the movie

You ever hear of chaos theory, Ed?

It's a science.

It tries to determine underlying patterns in chaotic systems: weather, ocean currents, blood flow, that sort of thing.

Well, it turns out that there are few things more chaotic than the beat of a human heart: speeding up, slowing down. A pretty face, a flight of stairs. It's always changing depending on what's happening to us out there. It's an erratic son of a bitch. But underneath all of that bump-a-ta-bump mess, there is, in fact, a pattern. A truth. And it's love.

The most important thing about love is we choose to give it and we choose to receive it, making it the least random act in the entire universe. It transcends blood, it transcends betrayal, and all the dirt that makes us human.

And if you can figure that out, the Jake Lees of the world got nothing on you (people who cheat with).

emotional iq test!

Our Emotional Intelligence Test consists of two parts; a self-report portion and an ability portion. The test assesses your capacity to recognize your own emotions and those of others; understand how best to motivate yourself; become close to others; and manage your own feelings and those of others. Emotional intelligence contributes a great deal to your potential in life. A poor emotional intelligence can hold a brilliant individual back from achieving his or her goals, while a good EIQ can help someone who might otherwise struggle achieve success in life.

Snapshot Report
Self-report Component
Subscale IQ score = 107 (55-155)
Subscale percentile = 68

107
According to your self-report answers, your emotional intelligence is slightly below average. People who score like you do feel that their ability to understand and deal with their own emotions and those of others is just barely acceptable. Emotionally intelligent people have an easy time overcoming difficulties in their lives and they are generally able to control their moods. It’s easy for them to motivate themselves to overcome obstacles and reach their goals. In addition, they find social interactions to be quite easy and fulfilling, for several reasons. They are comfortable allowing themselves to get close with others, and feel comfortable being vulnerable enough to establish intimacy. They also report having an easy time offering support to others; likely due to an empathetic nature and a solid ability to offer advice. Perhaps by working on your problem areas, you can become more confident in dealing with your own emotions and those of others.

simpsons movie - unexpected...

marge, in every marriage you get one chance to say, "i need you to do this with me." and there's only one answer when somebody says that.

okay, homie, i'm with you.
thanks, sweetheart.

and:

dad, when you get to the top, don't slow down, speed up!
but that's when it's the scariest!!

classic though:

(as the government is listening to every conversation)
"Hi, I'm calling about your Meat Lover's Pizza - I like meat, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to love again"

pray

Lord, may my desires change to your desires.

Lord, if a desire is good and profitable,
give me grace to fulfill it to your glory.
But if it be hurtful and injurious to my soul’s health,
then remove it from my mind.

hmm

Alan Alda said that the difference between comedy and tragedy is that in a comedy, people get what they want. In a tragedy, they get what they deserve.
